Why We Built Level Mind
The Problem
Most energy products are built for constant stimulation. Bigger doses. Stronger flavors. Louder claims.
But that’s not how people actually work.
Most people don’t need more energy.
They need a better way to start.
They sit down to work, feel resistance, open another tab, check their phone, wait for motivation, or wait for caffeine to kick in.
By the time it does, the moment has passed.
The Insight
Work doesn’t happen in a straight line.
It happens in blocks. Short periods of deep focus, followed by rest.
We built Level Mind for the moment you commit to focused work.
Not to keep you wired all day.
Not to replace sleep.
Not to override your body.
Just to start.
What Level Mind Is
Level Mind is a fast-dissolving oral strip with caffeine and L-theanine.
It’s designed to activate quickly and feel controlled, so you can begin focused work without waiting, overstimulation, or crash.
It’s a tool. Not a lifestyle.
Why the format
Drinks, capsules, and powders weren’t built for timing.
They’re built for volume.
We chose an oral strip because it works faster, is easier to use, and encourages intentional dosing.
You don’t sip it mindlessly.
You don’t gulp it.
You choose it.
That choice matters.
Who We Are
Level Mind was built by people who work in intense cognitive environments and wanted something quieter, cleaner, and more controlled.
We care about:
Clarity
Timing
Intentional use
Trust
Not hype.
Level Mind was founded by researchers and practitioners who work where focus matters
Dr. Morgan Smith is a sport scientist, problem solver, and performance nerd who believes energy should be effective, not overwhelming.
Through her postdoctoral training at Stanford, she studies how physiology and metabolism shape performance, especially for women in sport. But research is only as valuable as its real-world impact. That’s why she co-founded Level—to create a clean, steady source of focus without the jitters, crashes, or unnecessary extras.
Dr. Mo Merritt is a mental performance coach, researcher, and lifelong athlete who knows that focus isn’t just about pushing harder—it’s about staying steady in the moments that matter.
A former collegiate basketball player and member of the U.S. Women’s National Handball Team, she’s spent years studying the mental side of performance and helping athletes, military personnel, and professionals build resilience, confidence, and clarity under pressure.
